Real-time interactive SMS display
With 45,000 attendees converging in San Francisco for its OpenWorld Conference, Oracle was looking for a way to create a sense of community and collaboration at this important annual event.
To accomplish this, Obscura Digital created the world’s first large-scale, real-time interactive SMS display. In between presentations, a series of provocative questions were splashed across an 80-by-20-foot screen. Attendees were invited to answer via text message. As the responses flowed in, they were immediately projected back to the audience in a 4000-pixel, graphically designed display.
