NASA Holographic Presentation

In partnership with NASA and Ankh Marketing, Obscura Digital produced a ten and thirty minute Holographic Video featuring lyricist and actor Mos Def, and the inspirational astronaut, Leland Melvin. Obscura got this dynamic duo in front of a green screen to record them telling their stories of overcoming diversity and expressing the importance of “STEM education” programs: science, technology, engineering and mathematics, and how they lead to a wide variety of career choices and extracurricular activities.

With America’s inner city and urban youth in mind, NASA and Ankh sought to stimulate and intrigue students who attended the event with the Obscura-produced, 103” holographic presentation of Def and Melvin, which was displayed to a record-breaking audience at Oakland CA’s Chabot Observatory, and simulcast at the Allstate® Tom Joyner Family Reunion in Orlando, FL.
