M.I.A.

Following the release of M.I.A.’s Billboard charting album “Kala” was the launch of the world tour. As a stage enhancement to the tour we created a 9’ x 27’ rear projection compact video screen system for the stage, which requires under 4’ of projection distance. For this ultra wide 3:1 aspect we created lavish colorful videos for 17 of her songs. In addition we remastered these songs and broke them apart into stems for a custom Lemur touch application which she is able to play, arrange, and jam her songs live from the stage. The videos were also broken into sections which are triggered live from her Lemur via midi.
