HP D5 Conference

Hewlett Packard and its advertising agency, Goodby Silverstein and Partners came to Obscura with a challenge in April 2007.  That challenge was to create two separate displays for HP at the ultra-exclusive D conference hosted by the Wall Street Journal.  The displays needed to be one of a kind.

Taking on one of our most ambitious projects to date, Obscura created the worlds largest multi-touch interactive video display to allow conference attendees to view photos, videos, real time stock quotes as well as play games and compose music.

The second display consisted of an array of 12 HP LCD HD televisions arranged in the grand stairway of the hotel.  These displays needed to be discrete channels of HD video synchronized with a Christie 20K HD projector that displayed media in between the televisions.
